Welcome to the Birth Tide Academy online childbirth course (hereinafter referred to as the "Course"). As a student in the Birth Tide Academy, by purchasing and accessing this Course, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Non-Medical Advice: As a student in the Birth Tide Academy, you understand and acknowledge that the information provided in this Course is for educational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content of this Course is based on evidence-based information acquired through the instructor's (Karissa Stoner) training and research, as well as Karissa Stoner’s personal experience as a birth professional. However, it is important to note that any suggestions made within the Course are not recommendations, and the instructor does not assume responsibility for any actions taken by participants based on the information provided.

2. Consultation with Medical Care Provider: As a student in the Birth Tide Academy, you acknowledge the importance of consulting with your medical care provider for personalized advice and guidance regarding your pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum journey. The instructor of this Course is not a medical professional, and therefore cannot provide medical advice tailored to individual circumstances.

3. No Guarantees of Birth Outcome: As a student in the Birth Tide Academy, you understand that participation in this Course does not guarantee a specific birth outcome. Birth experiences vary greatly, and factors beyond the control of the instructor may influence the outcome of childbirth.

4. Private Course: As a student in the Birth Tide Academy, you agree that this Course is intended for your sole use. Sharing login information with others, including friends, family, or other individuals, is strictly prohibited. Each student is granted lifetime access to the Course, but access may be revoked if multiple users are detected accessing the Course through the same login credentials.

5. Prohibited Use by Birth Workers: As a student in the Birth Tide Academy, you acknowledge that birth workers, including doulas, childbirth educators, or any other individuals in the birth profession, are not permitted to use the content of this Course to create or develop their own childbirth courses or materials. The Course content is proprietary and may not be replicated or distributed without explicit permission from the instructor.
By accessing the Course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you may not access or use the Course.
